RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Organization

Grand Prix Alanya WE 2019 is organized by Velo Alanya (Okurcalar Street 07415 Alanya / Antalya Turkey ph: +90 532 336 56 46, e-mail: info@veloalanya.com under the regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI CR). It is to be held 10.02.2019 The race will be one day.

2. Participation and registration

Grand Prix Alanya is open to UCI World Teams (max 50%), UCI Professional Continental Teams, UCI Continental Teams and national teams as per UCI CR art. 2.1.005.

As per UCI CR art. 2.2.003 the teams must be formed of minimum 5 and maximum 7 riders.

Confirmation about accepting the invitation and preliminary registration on correctly filled UCI entry form should be sent by fax or e-mail to the organiser by January 31st 2019 at the latest. Final confirmation of starters takes place in Hotel Justiniano conference hall (address: Okurcalar Street 07415 Alanya / Antalya Turkey) on 08.02.2019 at 14:00–15:30.

The field for the 2019 Grand Prix Alanya is limited to 29 teams of six riders for race management and safety purposes.

Prize money will be paid for individual and teams classification.

All riders must have Elite (NZ riders) or International (overseas riders) licenses endorsed by National Federations associated with the UCI.

All International riders must have their appropriate personal (health/accident) insurance linked to their International license.

3. Race headquarters

In Alanya the race headquarters is open on 08.02.2019 from 09:00 to 23:00 at Hotel Justiniano Deluxe Resort Lobby

Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect the race numbers at the Hotel Justiniano Deluxe Resort conference hall (address: Okurcalar Street 07415 Alanya / Antalya Turkey) on 08.02.2019 from 14:00 to 15:30.


The team managers’ meeting, organized in accordance with the article 1.2.087 of the UCI regulations, in the presence of the Members of the Commissaires’ Panel, is scheduled for 08.02.2019 at 14:00 in Hotel Justiniano Deluxe Resort conference hall(Okurcalar Street 07415 Alanya / Antalya Turkey).

4. Radio-tour

Race information will be broadcast throughout each stage. The allocated frequency will be provided at the team managers’ meeting.

Handout of radio transmitters to team managers will take place after technical meeting. Transmitters must be returned immediately after the race.

5. Neutral technical support

The neutral support is taken care of by means of 3 neutral technical service cars.
